August Brush Lettering Workshop

Another long over due post, but.... I am so excited to finally share all the gorgeous fun details from our August Brush Lettering workshop we had the honor of teaching at Blossoms Flower House in Sister Bay, WI

This was what I like to call, an " ALL INCLUSIVE" workshop! No need to bring anything with, just you and your creative heart, and we provide the rest.
All our attendees were supplied with beverages, snacks, all the essential tools to help them learn the basics of brush lettering which included:
- Brush Lettering Workbook
- Prima Marketing Watercolor Palette
- 2 High Quality Watercolor Brushes
- Wood Paint Jar Holder handmade by Bradley Design & Co
- Customized Champagne Flute

Throughout this workshop we go over the basics of brush lettering step by step, starting with simple drills and building on each drill to advance into the upper and lowercase alphabet.

I think one of my favorite things about teaching workshops is being able to share my tips and tricks to help other become successful at brush lettering. As a self taught letterer I have spent so much money $$$ on so many different supplies and many that been great materials and others that were a complete waste of money. Over the years I have now learned what supplies work and don't work well. These workshops give me the opportunity to help guide our guests in being success in the workshop and beyond. I always tell our guests to never hesitate to reach out to me even weeks, or months after the workshop for guidance in materials!
These workshops also give me the opportunity to demonstrate exactly how I letter using a variety of different size brushes! I'm always excited to hear from the students which size brush they like to work with more and feel most comfortable using!!

Each of our guests also received a custom champagne flute they were able to use for this adorable mimosa bar we put together!!

Stay tuned for our next workshop!
