Wow! I cannot believe our little man is TWO years old! It’s been absolutely incredible to see how much Lincoln has grown and he has officially become a little BOY. He’s into all kinds of trucks, building blocks, and of course DINOSAURS!
This year we decided not to do a destination party and booked a beautiful Airbnb locally to host his big Jurassic Park themed bash.
My idea was to transform this open space Airbnb into a wildly fun Jurassic Park. I wanted the party to not only been fun for the kids but equally as fun for parents. I learned quickly that we had invited a lot of kids of all ages to his party, so I had to come up with way to keep everyone entertained while also not feeling cramped up in the living room. I planned different sections of the party that featured a Dino Excavating Site, Dino Egg Hunt (outdoors), Bounce House in the garage. These seemed the work well and of course an open bar for the parents to enjoy :)
The palette bar was handcrafted by my talented friends over at Bradley Design Co, and finished by my bestie Jackie over at Blossoms Flower Housel. The cocktails were created & crafted by Pink Door Events, Rachel was great to work! She created all the cocktails and came up with all the creative names that went on point with our theme. I created the Bar Menu with my laser cutter and 3D engraved it onto a clear proof graded acrylic.
The Dino Dig Site was a hit for kids, although I think parents were probably digging out sand from kids ears for days… it was still great to see the kids enjoying the sand toys!
We did ask our guests to dress in their favorite Jurassic attire and I’m not kidding these peeps nailed it! I loved how everyone went all out for their costumes!
PRO TIP: Display your Thank You envelopes or post cards at the party to help send out those thank you’s even faster!
It’s our little ranger the cutest thing ever :) LOVE HIM! We got the ranger vest from Puerto Rico during our recent cruise.
