As many of you know this is going to be our first Christmas with our little man. I have been trying so hard to think of things that I could possibly gift to an 8 month old for his first Christmas, but its becoming a lot harder than I expected. Lincoln is at this really fun stage where he is starting to play with more toys... but if I'm being honest here, I really catch him enjoying more things that aren't babies toys and than those that are. We will still do stocking stuffers, clothes, and I'm sure a couple toys. But what I have heard from other Mama's is that Christmas #2 is when the real fun begins! So I have come to conclusion that Christmas #1 really is for Mommy & Daddy.
And all I want for Christmas is to make lots of memories with our little man. So to kick off December, I signed up for a Mommy & Me Wreath Making Workshop hosted by Blossoms Flower House!
Lincoln and I had so much attending this hands on wreath making workshop taught by my good friend Jackie, florist, mama, and bosslady!
Jackie and I have had the privilege of working together over the years on many wedding projects and this past March we both welcomed our first born boys!
Jackie of all people knows exactly what is like to be a BossMama as she runs her own floral business and I am so excited she has transitioned her business into not only offering florals, but fun seasonal workshops for adults and kiddos!
From start to finish, she walked us through how to make these beautiful holiday wreaths!
It was also great to get Lincoln together with his favorite buddies!! :)
Although Lincoln wasn't much help in actually making the wreath, it was still a great experience and I will always remember these fun times!
If you do have a little one at home and are thinking about taking them to do one of these workshops, I highly recommend bringing along one of these fast travel high chairs. I LOVE this one by Inglesnia! It very easy to attach to almost any table Lincoln just loves being a big boy at the table!
Cheers to making memories!! Hope you all have a wonderful holiday and please comment/share below any traditions you do with your kids or recommend!! xo
